How to Trade in Blox Fruits — Complete Guide
Everything you need to go from confused beginner to confident Blox Fruits trader. This guide covers the trade mechanics, value system, WFL verdicts, permanent fruits, demand, and advanced strategies that experienced traders use.
How the Blox Fruits Trade System Works
Trading in Blox Fruits happens through the in-game trade window. To initiate a trade, walk up to another player and click their username, then select "Trade." Both players see a window where they can add fruits (up to 4 in the vanilla UI — though we support analyzing up to 6). Once both sides confirm, the trade executes instantly.
The trade window doesn't show values — that's your job. This is why tools like the Blox Fruits trade calculator exist. Before hitting accept, you should always know the value of every fruit on both sides.
There's no undo. Once you click accept and your partner does the same, the trade is final. Fruits change hands immediately. This is why scammers rely on speed — they pressure you to accept before you can check values.
Understanding Fruit Values
Blox Fruits values are community-determined — there's no official in-game value system. The community aggregates trading data from hundreds of servers and Discord servers to establish consensus values for each fruit. These update regularly as the meta evolves.
Values range from 5,000 (Rocket) to 9,000,000+ (Time). The current top-tier fruits are: Time, Kitsune, Leopard, Creation, and Dragon. Check the full value list for current numbers.
Key Value Concepts
- Normal value: The base worth of a fruit for trade purposes
- Perm value: Normal value × 3 for permanent fruits
- Demand (1–10): How actively players seek the fruit
- Robux price: What it costs to buy directly (unrelated to trade value)
WFL — Win, Fair, Loss Explained
Every trade in Blox Fruits gets classified as a Win, Fair, or Loss (WFL) based on the ratio of total values. Here's what each means from your perspective:
- WIN (W):You gave more value than you received. Counterintuitively, a Win means you overpaid — but you got the fruit you wanted. Acceptable if you need the fruit badly.
- FAIR (F):Both sides are within a healthy range. Neither player significantly shortchanges the other. Aim for Fair or better on every trade.
- LOSS (L):You received less value than you gave. Never accept a significant Loss — negotiate or counter. Small losses (Slight Loss) can sometimes be justified by high demand on their side.
Your First Trade — Step by Step
- 1Get a fruit worth tradingYou need something to offer. Farm Beli and buy from the Blox Fruit Dealer, or drop a fruit you found in-game. Even a Flame or Ice fruit can be your starting point.
- 2Know your fruit's valueLook up your fruit on the values page or the trade calculator. Know exactly what it's worth before entering any negotiation.
- 3Find a trade serverJoin a Trade server (low-ping servers dedicated to trading) through the server browser. These have more active traders than regular game servers.
- 4Advertise your tradeIn the chat, post something like: 'T> Flame for Ice or offer.' This means you're trading your Flame, looking for Ice or open to offers. Be specific.
- 5Calculate every offerWhen someone offers you fruits, add both sides in the trade calculator before accepting. Don't rely on their claims of value.
- 6Negotiate if neededIf it's a Slight Loss, ask them to add something small. Most traders will add a low-tier fruit to close a deal rather than lose the trade entirely.
- 7Accept and confirmOnce the calculator shows FAIR or WIN, accept. Double-check the trade window shows exactly what was negotiated — scammers swap items at the last second.
Advanced Trading Strategies
The Value Ladder
Start with whatever you have and make consistent Fair trades upward. Each trade should net you slightly better fruits. Don't rush — trying to jump from Rare to Mythical in one trade usually means accepting a bad deal. Patient laddering beats risky shortcuts every time.
Demand Arbitrage
Different servers value demand differently. A fruit that's 8/10 demand in a competitive server might feel 6/10 in a smaller server. Find undervalued high-demand fruits and flip them in more active servers.
Update Trading
Monitor Blox Fruits update announcements. When a new fruit drops or a buff gets announced, buy or trade for affected fruits immediately. Value adjusts within hours, but there's often a 2–6 hour window where you can acquire soon-to-be-valuable fruits at old prices.
The Perm Long Game
The most reliable path to a perm Mythical is accumulating normal Mythicals and trading 3 for 1 perm equivalent. Track your progress, keep trading upward, and stay patient. Players who get perm Mythicals in weeks usually got lucky or spent significant Robux.
